Everyone is very familiar with US Vice President Joe Biden‘s proclamation to liberal lackeys in the Ministry of Lies that paying higher taxes is patriotic. Biden has also lectured Americans on Catholic charitable donations and Christian giving. However, the hard facts behind Biden’s own contributions to charities smacks of double-speak.
Over the last 10 years, Joe and his “lovely wife” Jill have a combined adjusted gross income of US $215,000 – US $321,000. Starting in 1998, he never contributed more than $360 a year in charity. In some of the low income years, the percentage is just as incredible, when compared to the average percentage that the average American contributes.
The Biden’s tax return for 2007 show they earned US $269,256 paid US $46,952 in Federal Income Taxes. Yet they paid only US $1,885 to charity – that’s .69% of their earnings. This puts the Bidens well below the average percentage of charitable donations made by the average American.
Biden says he donates a lot of time to charities. However, Americans donate a lot of their time to charities, and this variable of time is not easily measured.

Apparently it is MORE patriotic to forget to pay your taxes until you find yourself nominated for a cabinet post in the administration. Not paying taxes, or “Going Geithner” as Ayn Rand would say, is the norm in Democrat politics.
