“Capitalism Needs To Go Down”: Chavez

Hugo Chavez

Venezuelan Communist leader Hugo Chavez has blasted a plan by the G20 countries to resuscitate the world economy, blaming capitalism for the problems and concluding the economic system “needs to go down“.

“It’s impossible that capitalism can regulate the monster that is the world financial system, it’s impossible,” Chavez told Venezuela‘s state TV late Thursday. “Capitalism needs to go down. It has to end. And we must take a transitional road to a new model that we call socialism.”

Chavez also blasted the IMF and World Bank as “one of the great guilty ones behind the crisis” and “tools of imperialism”. He also layed blame at the feet of the US and UK, calling them “the most guilty” for the financial crisis sweeping the globe because of the financial model “they’ve been imposing for years.”

Ahmadenejad: Agrees

Iran’s president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, agreed with Chavez, saying “some decisions by the world leaders cannot restore dead imperialism.”

Chavez and Ahmadinejad appeared together in Iran Friday to open a new joint commerical banking venture. The two leaders referred to their nations as the “G-2,” in opposition to the G20. The two anti-American leaders have been increasing economic and military ties over the years.

Wow. Capitalism is horrible. Blah Blah Blah. They go on and on about how capitalism is bad, but they meet to start a new commercial banking venture. Tell me you don’t see the irony in that.

Half human, half gorilla and a complete douche bag. And a country actually chose him to lead them…

Maybe one day Venezuela will rise to its true potential and feed all its hungry children, but until then, the best it has is a regular spot in Miss Universe.

Hugo Chavez is the one who needs to go, along with all the other Commies!

Capitalism is merely a description of how human commerce works. To forbid it or to fight against it is to saw off the tree limb on which your country's economy sits. Look out below, Venezuela!

They wouldn't be so quick to claim capitalism is terrible if they had to start giving their oil away for the good of the global community.

    Pinheads.

Few things strike me as a more collossal waste of time than saber rattling over socio-economic systems. The only difference between Chavez saying "Capitalism neds to go down" and some of the lunatic ravings on digg about filthy commies is what team you're on.

    Capitalism doesn’t exist.

WE MIGHT AS WELL FACE IT, WE HAVE COMMUNIST, SOCIALISM, AND THE FAR LEFT ARE THE SAME.. THEIR GOAL IS ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT. WE HAVE THEM ON BOTH SIDES . THEY DO NOT REPRESENT “WE THE PEOPLE” THEY HAVE THEIR OWN AGEND. REAGAN SAID “TEAR DOWN THIS WALL” THEY WANT TO TEAR DOWN OUR W AY OF LIFE AND FREEDOM…WE NEED TO WAKE UP.
