Barack Obama has followed Democrat Party tradition and bashed his own country by calling the United States “arrogant” and “dismissive” at a speech in Strasbourg Friday.
“In America, there is a failure to appreciate Europe’s leading role in the world,” Obama told the audience. “There have been times when America has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive.”
Obama also said an “insidious” anti-Americanism pervades Europe. Both attitudes must change, Obama concluded.
Obama made the remarks during a several-day-long European tour which has included a meeting with Queen Elizabeth, a G20 summit, a Nato summit, and meetings with key European leaders.

President Obama also said:
"But in Europe, there is an anti-Americanism that is at once casual but can also be insidious. Instead of recognizing the good that America so often does in the world, there have been times where Europeans choose to blame America for much of what's bad.
On both sides of the Atlantic, these attitudes have become all too common. They are not wise. They do not represent the truth. "
You see, this is why you all have lost elections. You can't attack Obama with facts so you misrepresent his words. Sad.

The above was taken from the article. Why are you saying we dont attack with facts? Everything you said was in the article. Read everything, then you may not look so iggnorant
No president of the United States has ever stood on foreign soil and bashed the country he was sworn to protect. If not for the United States, Europe would still be under Nazi control. America spent billions liberating Europe during World War ll, billions more rebuilding it under the Marshall Plan and billions upon billions more defending Europe under NATO. And now, the United States is arrogant for trying to liberate Iraq from a dictator, who was committing atrocities as unspeakable as those of Hitler? Perhaps the French would not be applauding so loudly if we had saved American lives and American dollars during World War ll and turned our backs on them. Where would they be now, if they had been left to fend for themselves? Instead of calling this nation arrogant, Barrack Obama should have reminded France of a similar sacrifice this country made for them and why we did the same for Iraq. And maybe, just maybe, during his visit, he should have paid homage and respect to our heroes by paying a visit the graves of the thousands of American dead from the beaches of Normandy!
