Howard Berman
Democrat Congressman from California Howard Berman has introduced legislation that would allow for a path to US citizenship for illegal aliens attending American schools.
Dubbed “The Dream Act”, H.R. 1751 seeks to offer amnesty to illegal aliens who were brought into the country by their parents when they were under the age of 15, have been in the country for at least five years, have attended and graduated from U.S. high schools and are under the age of 30.
The Dream Act has been defeated several times before but this has not stopped the relentless push for this legislation, which has bi-partisan support in both the Congress and Senate. Although its supporters say students illegally brought into America should not be punished, The Dream Act rewards parents who willfully broke American laws by granting their children amnesty and setting up their own path to citizenship once their kids turn 21.
The Dream Act also promotes future illegal immigration by offering the incentive of a quality American education to the children of illegals. It also secures an illegal alien’s place in America due to the country’s policy of not breaking up illegal families.
In addition, The Dream Act hurts American students by draining resources at local schools and taking away spots at state universities and colleges. This amnesty will also take jobs away from American workers in an already difficult economy.

Democrat (or is it demonic rat) Congressman Howard Berman apparently has been eating the funny mushrooms again. “Dream act”, only a demented enemy of this country would come up with this nightmare bill and name it a dream.
America is dying and this creature is placing another knife it its heart. This joker needs to be removed from political office now. With a degenerate like him in political office its no wonder that California is bankrupt, just take a look at the nuts that live there.
I wonder if Berman would ever take in any illegal students ? After all he is the one who is promoting this nightmare. And hey, John I love your post guy. Bring back the Reagan years.
Mr. Berman. Thanks for proposing your Dream Act. Here is my Dream Act: I wake up one morning to find that the liberals and communists in America are all gone to that Carribean socialist paradise Cuba. I go down to my corner store to get a coffee and do not see a flock of Mexicans on the street loitering waiting to get picked up for work. It seems the liberals took the illegals with them to Cuba. After all the free healthcare is better there isn;t it? Then I walk into my local McDonalds and give my order in English and they fill it correctly. Then I hear on the radio that all gun laws and taxes have been repealed and now there is no crime in my neighborhood at all. And now I am so rich that I go out and buy a BMW. Then my landscaper says to me he needs to increase his fee since there are no Mexicans to hire to cut my lawn and he is now using white guys. I find I have more than enough money to afford the increase so I pay him more than he asks for. Then I read in the USA Today, the last remaining newspaper that scientists have cloned Ronald Reagan and that REagan has gone to the Whitehouse, assumed the office of President, and shipped the Kenyian back to darkest Africa where he belongs. That is MY DREAM ACT!

its funny considering the bums on the street are all WHITE trash. when will you see a latin person on the street begging for money? you won’t, they have more dignity than that. they rather get paid minimum wage at wendys to supoprt their family than sit on the side of the street. america’s economy is awful right now because of this. we all know latin people come here to work, and please don’t be childish that they don’t pay taxes. read US weekly latley? have you read how many FAMOUS celebtrites don’t even pay their own taxes? i think the dream act is a great idea. it doesn’t matter it you’re white, black, yellow, brown, the smarter, harder working person should get the job. and i’m sure this will hurt all the lazy americans in this country.
Mr Howard, I’m so glad you are thinking about under age students who didn’t have the choice of change countries or decide their future, you are thinking in our country future. If they can work legal, they can pay taxes and pay back the country for their school expenses. And is important because that way the abuse of some employers can stop, for long hours with out over time pay and with out medical help. Many people think that illegals have every service for free, this is wrong, they have to pay for college classes almost four times more than a resident and how they will pay if they can’t work?
This is a very good idea, every body has the right of go to school and work and not just be living of unemployment or food stamps like many citizens do.
Mr Berman, I think that's great! By giving new opportunities to latin people. I know theres lots of students out there that would love to keep on going to school. And would love to be someone in life. Because just like Vanessa said theres lots of lazy people out there that has the opportunities to keep on going to school and be someone important yes like (white people) And instead they rather stay home and sleep all day.Thank you MR.
