New Orleans police have arrested one of their own who was wearing a police-style uniform while breaking into homes and sexually assaulting women.
36-year old Darrius Clipps, a rookie with less than a year in service, has admitted to two incidents where he forced women to strip naked after breaking into their Mid-City homes.
Officer Sabrina Richardson said in one case, “He forced the victim to remove her clothing and asked, ‘where are the drugs?’ The victim stated she did not know where any drugs were, the suspect then left the residence.” In another incident he allegedly made the woman disrobe and then “fondled the victim’s body before fleeing the scene.”
