Helen Zille
Democratic Alliance leader Helen Zille has vowed her party “will stop ANC corruption and power abuse” no matter what the consequences.
“I will keep on telling the truth about the ANC again and again, because it is in South Africa’s interests to do so,” Zille said in a statement.

Tony Ehrenreich
The comments come in response to COSATU Western Cape provincial secretary Tony Ehrenreich, who said Zille was damaging the international image of South Africa in a time when foreign investment in the country is needed more than ever.
Zille addressed the criticism directly by saying, “That is our job as the biggest opposition party. And we will do our job whether Tony Ehrenreich and the ANC like it or not. We will not let our beloved country become a banana republic.”
