N. Korea Threatens War Against US, Japan, S. Korea

North Korea has said it will wage “full scale war” against the United States, Japan and South Korea if any attempt is made to intercept its launching of a rocket allegedly intended to put a satellite into space.

Satellites first uncovered North Korea’s plans, with foreign intelligence agencies identifying the testing of a long-range Taepodong-2 missile that is capable of reaching the United States.

US officials quickly warned North Korea that the missile would be shot down if it headed towards American territory. Japan has suggested it might try to intercept any launch, even if the payload is a communications satellite as claimed by Pyongyang.

North Korea has been on lockdown since the start of annual spring military joint exercises by the South Koreans and Americans, with the border and phonelines shut and its army on full alert.

North Korea also warned it could not guarantee the safety of civilian aircraft flying near its territory during the exercises, causing airlines to alter their flight paths.

The division of the Korean Peninsule was the stupidest move in diplomacy in the history of the world. Even if it had been all communist, it would be relaxed today like China and Eastern European countries. The U.S. and the Soviets are equally to blame. The abortion took place at Potsdam in 1945.

Shooting down a missile or satellite is an act of war. You can’t spin this any other way.

So Schwartz, you are now siding with the Communists…. wow. Your true colors finally come out.

Um, I’m sort of scared. Why do people have to do something like this? Of course it’s human nature to start some rediculous war with each other, but why can’t countries just mind their own business? Can’t we be happy with the way that we are all split up into seperate peices of territories? Quarelling with each other right is a very unwise desiscion. I sigh at the stupidity that humans have inside of them. I don’t know… Sending rockets and polluting the earth will send us to our downfall.
