While the Leftist-controlled mainstream media, aka The Ministry of Lies, tries to spin talk radio personality Rush Limbaugh’s wishing failure on Barack Obama as meaning the entire GOP wants to see America itself fail, a 2006 survey showed most Democrat Party voters wished then-President George W. Bush would fail as President.
The Fox News poll asked Americans who voted in the 2004 US Presidential election, “Regardless of how you voted in the presidential election, would you say you want President Bush to succeed or not?”. Democrat Party respondents answered “not” 51% to 40%.
Former Clinton pollster Craig Charney wrote at the time in The NY Post that the poll results show “the rage extends way beyond the lip-pierced Deaniacs, aging hippies and other fringes of the Democratic Party. Lots of otherwise sensible people – suburban moms, hospital orderlies, schoolteachers, big-hatted church ladies – detest George W. Bush.”
Charney concluded his article by writing, “Remember, for better or for worse, George W. Bush will be our president for more than two years. Hoping that he’ll fail is really hoping that America will fail. These people detest Bush so much that they don’t mind America getting a setback across the globe if it will weaken Bush.”

So it’s OK for them to say they wish president Bush fails, but not acceptable for Limbaugh to say he doesn’t want Obamessiah to succeed with his socialist policies?
Again we understand why the great Frank of Queens told us many years ago that liberalism is a mental disorder.
I’d have to see exactly how the question was worded in the Fox poll, in order to believe it.
I would also have to see evidence of the same mindset in other polls.
Because a poll put out by Fox = Rush saying it on the air…
