Marxist dictator Robert Mugabe gave a present to his Zanu-PF cronies who put together his lavish 85th birthday bash: a vow to continue seizing white-owned farms in Zimbabwe, despite a court ruling from the Southern African Development Community (SADC) court that such “reform” is discriminatory against Whites and the farmers must be allowed to return to their farms unhindered.
“Farms will not be returned back to former farmers,” Mugabe told his supporters. “Some farmers went to the SADC… but that’s nonsense, absolute nonsense, no-one will follow that.”
“We have courts here in this country, that can determine the rights of people. Our land issues are not subject to the SADC tribunal.” Mugabe has ignored the SADC ruling and re-took 77 of the farms in February. Mugabe regime propaganda continues to demonze white Rhodesians and scapegoat them for the country’s economic collapse.
Mugabe also promised a so-called “indiginezation program” which would require all internationally-owned companies operating in the country to have at least 51% ownership by Zimbabweans. The program was initiated last year but has not been implemented yet.
