NotCrazy

I didn't say Obama was the devil or anti-christ. Right now it not Obama I am concerned about.

It's the fanatic following him that I call Obamammedans.

They are of the same vibe, same personality, as the Reaganites on the college campuses in the 1980s.

Same cult of personality and same extreme adoration.

Now I have looked at all of Obama's predecessors with a skeptical, critical eye. I am not going to discriminate against Obama in that regard

@Quartermain
People are going a bit overboard with Obama, but it is also the complete opposite with the people that don't like him. You all are just as bad thinking he is the devil.

Ever wonder why a first grade kid is already so warped to say he doesn't want to go back to school because there is a picture of the new President of the United States on the wall?

Could it be that he heard mommy and daddy saying how dangerous and scary he is?

The dude has only been in office a couple weeks and people are flipping out. If anything you only have his senate record to go on which will point more towards a lazy senetor that doesn't want to piss anyone off.

People need to lighten up.

Bar sinister boys,

The Prophet Frank has enlightened us that fascism and communism are just mirror images of totalitarian philosophies. Fascists control the means of production, communists own it. Fascists have a committee of one discerning the will and needs of the people, the communists a polit bureau. Socialism eventually and inevitably devolves into repressive government because speech running counter to the truth of their vision is a threat to implementation of the vision. And as humanism fills the hole in an atheist's soul, criticism of his program is blasphemy and not to be tolerated. Conservatives are the torch bearers of democracy because we know that you of the left are self deluded fools swept along in the tide of emotions. You will be passive when government incrementally represses personal freedom and the freedom to be wrong, (not to vote, punished in some European countries, e.g.), all because we are stupid sheep who don't know what's in our self interest. Without conservative ideology as a counter to the religion of the left, you would, as you have in the past, enslave yourselves to a Hitler or Mao.

NotCrazy,

I can't help myself either. This week I'm apparently on a media fixation, and remember the Mel Brooks movie, 'Spaceballs' in wishing you and your fellow travelers, "May the Schwartz be with you!"
It's curious how you from the left duck and dive with the language, so that it is a virtue to put the past behind us and not play the blame game for the financial meltdown when the trail leads to Chris Dodd and Barney Frank, but at the same time fair game to blame the Bush administration for everything including your acne and poor quality weed.
Yeah, B.O. hasn't had a chance yet to impose his program to redistribute the wealth, except in spending our money to lard up programs for the Democratic constiuency. His campaign and the company he kept are warning enough to convince conservatives that this is a guy who has not earned their trust and bears watching.
Surely there are some left wing sites in which you'd feel more welcome, but thanks for spending time here. It makes our lives more spicy to realize that there is darkness after daylight.

I had this nice long thing wirtten with some wit, but figured why.

Obama has at most 8 years to be our president. If in that time he can get the schools fixed up to help educate our masses, fix some roads, maybe close a couple corporate loopholes, and keep us out of unessecary wars, and actually win the ones we do have to fight, it will be a success. The stimulus package is basically an attempt to get it all done before his next election and provide a boom to the economy.

The reason why all the crazy crap your paranoid about won't happen is because we want to get the religious nuts out of our homes not bring them in closer.

You most likely won't get why this irks me but on Fox News they were all worried that a new U.S. elementry history book didn't have any mention to Jesus.

Now seriously what does Jesus have to do with American History in an elementry book. They don't need to know the complexity of the religious beleifs of the puritans, that is college level stuff.

They need to know about the facts and have fun pictures to keep them excited about the education. They need to know the timelines of different major events, not how many times people turned to Jesus to have a reason to hate and pursicute people.

Anyway Obama is a push back against the religious right, who want to strip away every issue that they can bastardize the bible into supporting.

Hell if you can talk about condoms in sex ed, but you can own as many guns as you want. The logic is rediculous.

Alright DA, you got stabs at Obama for being an unpatriotic- Neo-Hitler-black racist-drunken hobo-illegal immigrant with mommy issues. Just add Muslim terrorist-baby killer-socialist and you can work for FOX news.
Some people are so ludicrous that it makes me want to jab a fork in my eye.

p.s. Hitler was an evil human being. And I feel dirty even putting some kind of positive spin with his time alive. But damn if he didn't turn the economy around.

DA to invoke the name of Hitler with Obama is really a really ironic one indead.

God I can't believe i'm going to do this.

Hitler did a lot to improve the German economy period. He brought unemployment down to virtually zero and took a nation that used its own money to burn because firewood was more expensive that the amount of bills it took to buy to burn the same amount of time. And in just about a decade he took them to being a world power that almost won a major world war.

So if Obama can pull our economy around like Hitler was able to I am all for it, but I am doubtful we can turn around that far since we are not that low to begin with.

Also Ironic is that you say your Hitler/Obama thing and talk about how Obama has not decided on what to do about going to war with the middle east.

I would rather have us not meddle around in the middle east since anything that we do is bad one way or the other. But that eventually will need us to help so we may as well make an educated decision. And having a few months to gameplan on a mess that has been going on for thousands of years (especially when we have a huge crisis with out economy) doesn't seem like such a bad thing to me.

I don't know if Obama can turn things around in 4 years or not, Bush was just so inept.

Still though the one thing that will boost an economy faster than anything is consumer confidence. If people actually believe things are getting better, things will get better.

And don't you love despite the evidence that Obama is a legal US citizen, some don't let facts get in the way of a biased opinion.

It's like with Larry Sinclair, the TRP wants to keep putting on the air a proven a liar, but that doesn't stop them. For those who don't know, Sinclair failed his lie detector test except for the part about doing drugs.

Tony Blankley, that was a legitimate guest. Keep going in that direction instead of putting the screwballs on as guest.

And take some calls with your guest during the shortwave hour.
