Police in Envira, Brazil are after five members of the Kulina Beringian tribe for allegedly killing and eating a local farmer in a ritualistic cannibal ceremony.
Officials say the Beringians lured 19-year old Ocelio Alves de Carvalho from his farm and then killed him in a cannibal ceremony that included cooking the young farmer’s organs. The Beringians then bragged about their deed to residents in Envira.
Carvalho’s parents heard of the story and began searching for their son, only to find his body quartered and his skull hanging from a tree, police said.
Police believe drugs may have played a role in the ritualistic cannibal murder.
The Beringians were arrested but released shortly after their fellow tribesmen began surrounding the police station. The Brazilian Amazon village of Envira is located in a remote area where police support must travel via longboat and helicoptor to reach and is known for its isolated Beringian tribes.
Villagers and Carvalho’s family are angry with FUNAI, Brazil’s National Indian Foundation, which they claim protects the Beringian tribes over Brazilians. “The family is very frustrated with the law here, which protects the Indians and doesn’t help protect us,” said the village’s chief of staff, Maronilton da Silva Clementino. “They start drinking and local farmers here are afraid who could be next.”
Beringians, having been disproven to be “native Americans” due to such archeological discoveries as the Kennewick Man, have been appropriately renamed to reflect their true point of origin to the North American continent, the Bering Straits.

You are correct in your position, when the State (Brazil) has a policy that “protects” their two legged beasts then something needs to be done.
The villagers need to be armed at all times.
The law needs to be changed.
If the law is not amended to stop this barbaric practice, its time for revolution.
This so called law of protection will only give these beasts the right to continue their savage ritual.
These cannibals are a reminder of the ancient Canaanites who sacrificed their children to their gods.
