Believe Him

If Captain “Sully” said there was a Bird Strike and both engines were Disabled, BELIEVE HIM.  He knows what he is talking about.  He’s been flying since he was a kid.  He got his license to fly probably before he got his license to drive.  Top notch security is his specialty.  He loves to fly.  And when he figures he can make It by landing in the Hudson and having sight-seeing Circle Line boats pick up the passengers, he figures right.

But the environmentalists have to stick their noses where it doesn’t belong.  Oh, the poor birds.  Oh, the flying geese.  If they’re Canadian Geese what are they doing flying around New York City?  The environmentalists don’t want to “harm” the geese; so concerned about the geese.  You ever notice how environmentalists couldn’t care less about the PEOPLE; they’re so preoccupied with the flying geese.  We are talking about 155 people.  That’s a lot of lives.  Living Human Beings.  People who have “loved ones”. People who are “loved ones” of others.  People who are part of a family; integral parts of a family; essential.  People who are young; people who are old.  People who are afraid to fly.  People who are scared of touching down in the icy waters.  People who can’t figure how they are going to stand on a wing and wait to be rescued.  People who are afraid of falling into the water.  What about the mother who held her infant, clutched her infant; and was afraid to hand off her infant to a rescuer.  No, environmentalists are concerned about the geese.Airports have to hire dogs to chase geese away; shoo them away from the airports.  There are chemicals that the grounds around the airport can be treated with.  There are cannons that blast away to frighten the geese off the land.  There are restrictions as to when planes can take off and planes can land, so that the geese can have their mating hours and feeding hours and recreational hours.  Don’t let the flying aircraft interfere with the flying geese.  There is an easy solution; get rid of the flying geese.  By not eliminating them, they multiply.  They don’t have “additions”, incremental “additions”; NO, they multiply.  In 2000, the year 2000, there were one million Canadian Geese in the good old USA.  Now there are 4 million.  They like it here.  Get rid of them.  They do HARM.  They have the power to DESTROY the LIVES of HUMAN BEINGS.  Environmentalists are not concerned about HUMAN BEINGS.  No, environmentalists are concerned about the geese.

What about the lousy, lying, low-life, lecherous, left-wing leaning liberals in the media making their demeaning remarks.  They’re also concerned about the flying geese.  Oh, don’t harm the flying geese.  What was one of the first things the media came up with, even after the New York non-elected Governor said Miracle on the Hudson.  Remember what it was?  The headline was “Airplane had a mechanical problem before incident”.  They said that the engine did not immediately get to full power a day or two before this flight to Charlotte.  There was a time gap before the engine was roaring.  The implication is that the airplane had a mechanical problem.  That implies that mechanically UNSAFE planes are allowed to fly.  That implies that there are no mechanics who work on planes to get them ready for flight.  That implies that airplanes shouldn’t fly, because they are unsafe.  That implies that only geese should fly because they never need a mechanic.  And through logic you have your Inverse, your Converse, your Contrapositives.  Airplanes should NOT fly because they might strike flying geese.  They can’t figure out that the Geese should NOT be flying because they might strike the Airplane.  It’s time to get rid of the geese, before they strike again.

And, after all this time has gone by; after the plane sinks into the Hudson; after they LIFT the plane out of the Hudson; after they transport it to their investigative laboratory; after they investigate the Cause of the accident; after all of that. . . . .

They find, and the lousy, lying, low-life, lecherous, left-wing leaning liberals in the media report BIRD

FEATHERS in the engines of the plane.

What did they expect to find?

If Captain Chesley B. Sullenberger the Third said that there were birds who killed his engines, BELIEVE HIM.

All the accolades and praise that have been heaped on Captain “Sully” are properly directed.  This man is a Hero.  Steady fortitude under extreme pressure.

It’s the environmentalists we need to reckon with.  They deserve NO attention.  They have NO just position in this matter.  They have NO justification for their meddling.  They have NO right to make the laws regarding flying geese.  Do away with the geese, first and foremost.  The environmentalists don’t care if they do away with us.  We’ll have to find “something else” for environmentalists to do.

And when the media says we have to investigate matters, don’t go along with the media.  They’re only giving you the information they want to give you.  They no longer are journalists; they are not professional journalists.  Only their agenda, only the facts that fit in with their agenda, only their slant to the story.  No wonder people are not buying newspapers.  Have you noticed how readership of newspapers are down?

And when Captain Chesley B. Sullenberger the Third says something, BELIEVE HIM.
