I don’t know too much about Sliwa or the Angels, but on the fourth of July there were a bunch of them on the number #1 line asking for “donations”. They put on quite a performance, making believe they were “checking” each door as the car entered and left the station. I would guess they collected fifty dollars in one car. I have to wonder where the money goes? I asked one of them and he said he came from Canada and was in New York for “training” with the Angels.

April 2011 and on the #1 line I encounter numerous “Guardian Angels” working the crowd in each car of the train for donations, with a spiel about “stopping crime”….the scam never seems to end.

I was a Gaurdian Angel back in the 80′s and i saw this guy go up to Curtis and tell him he wasn’t shit and then two cops came out of nowhere and beat the guys ass and arrested him. After I saw that i stopped being a guardian angel.
