Democrat Party Mayor Becker and his Attorney Patrick Cafferty
Gary Becker, the Democrat Party Mayor of Racine, Wisconsin arrested in a kiddie porn sting operation, has resigned from office.
The one-sentence resignation letter makes no reference to the charges Democrat Mayor Becker faces, which carry a maximum penalty of more than 114 years in prison and $370,000 in fines.
Becker’s attorney Patrick Cafferty said his client decided to resign because “it was in the best interest of everyone involved.” Democrat Mayor Becker intends to plead not guilty to all charges at an arraignment on Feb. 10 in Racine County Circuit Court.

All the news sites I looked at regarding this story forgot to mention his party. I guessed Becker was therefore a Democrat. But how to be sure? I put Democrat in the search terms and got to this site.
QED: the New York Times, etc. show no signs of getting better.
My only question is this: Why did he not use the “I didn’t know” excuse? It seems to work for his Democrat buds.
Maybe they can start using the Shaggy “it wasn’t me” line?
