Obama Flubs Presidential Oath

Barack Hussein Obama ushered in his presidency today by flubbing the simple, 35-word oath to become America’s 44th President:

I hate to say it. It was Chief Justice Roberts who flubbed it. I have no love for Barry Soetoro.

p.s. As long as he doesn’t say “nu-cul-ar”.

Ummmm…. No that would be Roberts that messed it up.

Excuse me, but it was CHIEF JUSTICE ROBERTS who flubbed the oath, and you can see that the President picked up on it in stride. Rather than publicly embarrass the conservative CJ, Obama just paused. Seems that the CJ should have reviewed the US Constitution…

I don’t know the exact words of the oath, but also wondered whether it was him or the Chief Justice who mixed up the words.

    WRONG! Obama screwed it up!

If you watch the oath carefully, Obama started repeating while Roberts was STILL SPEAKING “do solemnly swear.” That’s what got Roberts flustered.

If you watch Biden’s oath on YouTube, he got it right. The pause in the oath was planned to come AFTER “do solemnly swear.”

Roberts did indeed make more than one error, but the Obamessiah made the FIRST mistake.

Making mistakes in the oath is no big deal. What IS a big deal is the leftist media repeating over and over and over again that it was Roberts’ mistake. If they even acknowledge Obama’s mistake at all, they bury it deep within the article and blame Roberts in the headline.

The leftist spin not only blames Roberts, they try to credit Obama with graciously bailing Roberts out. The fact is that Jasper jumped the gun as soon as he heard his name, and was CONFUSED thereafter when Roberts made an error which, although not verbatim from the Constitution, was a grammatically correct and valid oath.

Worse, Obama’s worshippers have literally accused Roberts of doing this INTENTIONALLY.

If lies, media distortion of reality, recriminations and conspiracy theories arise from Obama’s FIRST WORDS AS PRESIDENT, we are in for a long, painful, and unproductive four years.

    @ POWinCA:

You’re right. Obamessiah did start before Roberts finished his part.

Seriously though, do you expect any better behaviour from the leftist loser liberals (LLL)?
