Busted: Alleged Pedo and Democrat Mayor Gary Becker
The Democrat Party Mayor of Racine, Wisconsin, Gary Becker, was arrested last Tuesday for attempting to tryst with what he thought was a 14-year old girl he met online.
The girl was actually a police officer working as part of a sting operation started by the state Department of Justice’s Division of Criminal Investigation, after city workers discovered pornography on the Democrat Mayor’s personal computer while fixing a problem on it.
Democrat Mayor Becker allegedly offered to meet the 14-year old girl and take her to a hotel to “have lots of fun”. Police arrested the 51-year old Becker while he was shopping for lingerie for the girl at a local mall, whom police say he intended to meet there.
Police have charged Becker with attempted second-degree sexual assault of a child, child enticement and possession of child pornography, exposing a child to harmful materials, and using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime and misconduct in public office.
Workers at Racine City Hall expressed shock and betrayal at the arrest. Acting mayor and Common Council President David Maack has called on the mayor to step down. The Racine City Council, which has the ability to remove the mayor from office, has not yet acted on that option.
Democrat Mayor Becker was released from jail Wednesday after a $165,000 cash bond was posted by a relative. Becker’s bond was reduced to $10,000 Thursday. Becker has decided to skip already-scheduled plans to attend the inauguration of US president-elect Barack Obama.

Good riddance. This doofus is also a member of the Mayors Against Illegal Guns Coalition, a gun-grabbing group with a stated goal of "making the public safer by getting illegal guns off the streets." Actually, their goal is to put honest gun shops out of business. The Coalition is co-chaired by Boston Mayor Thomas Menino and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
I’m always amazed at how many Democrat scandals come out, and yet the media barely mentions that the offenders are Democrats (this is something John of SI is always talking about on the show)! Like in this example of the the pedo mayor, only AP mentioned he’s a Dem, and that was down in the fourth paragraph! They sure talked about him being from Wisconsin, though, like he’s a part of “small town America” and a pedo, which is more about the liberal bias (remember how Sarah Palin talked about “small town America” being “real America” during the campaign). If this guy was a Republican it would be plastered all over in the way I wrote my article. Remember Larry Craig?
