Helen Suzman
The New Year starts off on the right foot with the announcement of anti-Apartheid activist Helen Suzman finally dropping dead at the age of 91.
Suzman was a Leftist MP for the United Party and later the liberal Progressive Party who used her position of power to undermine National Party rule and the system of Apartheid.
For helping to destroy the system that looked to protect White Afrikaaner/Boers from the harsh realities of life on the Dark Continent, Suzman was twice-nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize and made an honorary dame by the Queen in 1989.
Suzman apparently died peacefully in her sleep, which is more than what can be said for many whites in post-Apartheid South Africa, who have died brutally violent deaths due to home invasions from black South Africans.
Suzman was born in Germiston, Gauteng, on 7 November 1917 to Jewish Lithuanian immigrants. She leaves behind two daughters.

Even she had to acknowledge the failings of the ANC government after Apartheid.
But, as this post correctly states, how many have died after Apartheid compared to during it? I don’t hear too many sources quote this number.
I can’t help but wonder how satisfied she was looking at what she had helped to achieve. Maybe she did not pass away peacefully after all…
You are right Johann, I wonder what her last thoughts were? Did I live my life to the fullest? Did I achieve all that I could have? Did I do good by my fellow man? Did I help create the path of destruction and mass murder for my fellow white South Africans? Was I a good communist? Will Mother Russia be proud of me? Will there me a mermorial in my honour in Russia?

south africa gave her a prosperous life and a new home, saving her from the ravages of nazism and communism and this is how she repays her gratitud !?
