It’s not every day that a major player in a country’s political landscape admits to cosmetic surgery, but Cape Town Mayor Helen Zille has revealed just that during an interview with South Africa’s Sunday Times. It seem that her rosy-cheek glow has less to do with her disposition and more to do with Botox treatments.
“I had botox treatment for the first time in 2005. A friend told me that she had it done, and I was a bit surprised because I thought she was being superficial,” said Zille, who is also head of the very liberal Democratic Alliance.
“I thought about it a bit, looked at my own frown lines, and decided to give it a try… the results seemed worth it”.
Zille was decimated during an interview with The Right Perspective back in October 2006.

At least Helen's a woman – as sexist as that sounds, you'd expect a woman to be more conscious of her appearance!
I need my wife to take some botox!
Tell me. Who would kick her out of bed?
