Cosatu have strong ties with SA Communist Party and ANC, a corrupt, criminal bunch really only interested in their own gains. Typical left wing propaganda nonsense, anything or anybody that doesn't bow down to their ideologies is being labelled racist.

The fact that they are comparing Israel with apartheid South Africa is actually a give-away, since both these countries have actually been more accommodating to other groups and religions than most people would like to acknowledge, in South Africa's case at least until 1994.

Cosatu played a huge role in bringing apartheid South Africa to its knees, after the "racist" National party allowed them to operate as a union and the same "racist" apartheid government lifted the ban on the ANC.

The left never acknowledges these little facts…

I do not think COSATU even knows the first thing about Israel. If Israel is so horribly racist, then how are there Arab MK’s in the Kenesset? How about that Arabs do not have to serve in the IDF? What about Israeli-Arabs going to the same universities as the Jewish ones or having the same access to health care? COSATU should learn about Israel before they go around saying that garbage and sounding like an idiot.

South Africa's role in the matters is a pivotal one. Remember, shortly before 9/11/2001 there was a UN "anti-racism conference" in South Africa where the US and Israel were ganged up on and kicked out of the conference. Could be interesting times ahead.
