Following the lead of Democrat activist lawyer Phil Berg, former US presidential candidate Alan Keyes has filed his own lawsuit questioning president-elect Barack Obama’s qualifiaction to hold office based on his “natural born” status.
Keyes, who lost by a landslide to Obama in a closely-watched US Senate race back in 2004, filed the lawsuit with his vice-presidential candidate Wiley S. Drake, and the Chairman of the American Independent Party, Markham Robinson in California Superior Court.
“I and others are concerned that this issue be properly investigated and decided before Senator Obama takes office. Otherwise there will be a serious doubt as to the legitimacy of his tenure. This doubt would also affect the respect people have for the Constitution as the supreme law of the land. I hope the issue can be quickly clarified so that the new President can take office under no shadow of doubt. This will be good for him and for the nation,” Keyes said in a press conference announcing the suit.
In addition to the ones filed by Berg and Keyes, seven other “natural born” lawsuits are making their way through American courts. An Obama spokeswoman has dissmissed the suits as “pure garbage“.

As an FYI, Obama's birth record was sealed by Hawaii's governor within days of his trip to see his ailing grandmother. Funny how things like that happen…
As obvious as this is to everyone, it’s a total no-brainer for the Obama team – just make public the birth record currently sealed by the governor of Hawaii. If there’s nothing to hide, then why are you hiding it?
The remarks of Obama’s so-called ‘spokeswoman’ are easily translated into 4th-grade-ese: “Nuh-UH! You’re a liar!”
Sheesh. I wish grownups were running this country.
