A 2003 videotape of Barack Obama toasting Palestine Liberation Organization terrorist Rashid Khalid reportedly shows the US presidential candidate making anti-Israeli comments, including a charge of genocide by the state of Israel against the Palestinian people.
Obama reportedly congratulates Khalidi for his work and then says “Israel has no God-given right to occupy Palestine” and that there has been a “genocide against the Palestinian people by Israelis.”
The leaked comments come from a tipster to blogger Doug Ross, who has been accurate with previous tips. The tipster says this is the real reason why the LA Times refuses to release the videotape and will not even release a transcript.
The LA Times acknowledges the existance of the tape but insists it cannot release it due to an agreement with the person who gave it to them. An increasingly loud chorus calling for the release of the tape has risen by people concerned with what American foreign policy would look like in an Obama nation.
