The story of Barack Obama’s “natural born” citizenship status took an unusual turn today after Hawaii Governor Linda Lingle effectively barred anyone but Obama himself from obtaining a copy of his birth certificate. Gov. Lingle cited privacy laws meant to deter identity theft for the action. So far Obama has not requested it.
Philadelphia Judge Barry Surrick threw out the original “natural born” lawsuit filed by Democrat activist lawyer Philip J. Berg Friday. Berg plans to appeal to the Supreme Court. Similar “natural born” suits have popped up in eight states across the country.
In a startling development, Obama’s Kenyan grandmother has reportedly alleged she witnessed Obama’s birth at the Coast Provincial Hospital in Mombasa, Kenya.

We can thank the media for allowing this to happen and judges that should be thrown in jail. It is the right of the people to know if we are putting in office an illegal. Obama’s own grandmother said he was born in Kenya! This is just awful.

Always ready to question someone's authenicity, now the first Black president of the USA has to prove he is agian authentic to some white Americans …why? The historical record of the USA provides us with the accomplishments of Black who always have to prove themselves……even to the point of last centuries' question White dominated science are "Blacks human or a lower species." As a learned person I am knowledgable about how sutble and second nature racism is and it's evolvution into a lifestyle that law has influenced change. As a Black citizen I call on the majority of my fellow Americans to wakeup from your understandable paronoia, always baseless and insulting to say the least. Name calling and bullyism, second guessing and demagogary or signs of people without real issues, irresponible and dangerous. People can and have been hurt and even killed. If it was one hundred years ago some whites would be preparing to kill or lynch those they diagree with or do not like or unsderstand by choice or circumstance.. The reality of being Black and always trying to prove…. what else but your humanity., your patriotism, your intelligence or honesty…please. Sorry too many are plauged with the sense that White always right, even if we all perish because of it. Who called Mr. Bush a liar when no WMD were found. Knowing that Sadaam Husein and Al Queda were enemies…causing thousands of US and Iraqi war deaths. Please stop the paranoia and became learned and wise. You only continue a civil war when we are in the face of an external enemy. American the enemy sleeps within those who continue to be divisive and out right mean and condensending.
I don’t think you realize how racist you sound because I believe you’re a decent person trying to do the right thing. Just think about what you’ve said. You’ve claimed Obama is black when he is just as equally white. The you assume that white people are questioning his national origin only because of his slight blackness. That’s a very racist thing for you to say. You’re lumping white people into one big group as if they’re all the same and think the same. That my friend is the very essence of prejudice. Rather we are each individuals, not part of a herd. If you’ve indeed suffered prejudice, then you should already know that. I’ll stop calling you a black man and you’ll stop calling a white man. Listen to Morgan Freeman’s advice on this subject. He said if you really want to stop racism, just stop talking about it. When you start implying that I, as a white man am a racist, it makes me dislike you as a black man – hence fueling feelings of prejudice between us. Just please knock it off. Don’t tell me that I only want to see Obama’s birth certificate because I’m white and he’s half black. I could argue that you seem to think his blackness excludes him from the law. White men who have run for president have had their national origins questioned. Why should Obama’s blackness make him an exception? The fact that he could so easily put this matter to rest and so far has spent millions refusing to do so, indicates something is very wrong. There will certainly be other black presidents provided this one doesn’t ruin it for the rest. As a black person, you need to demonstrate your desire for the truth as much as any other person regardless of skin color. If you don’t, you will only be staining the reputation of your race by blindly supporting Obama purely because of his skin color. There’s been some reasonable doubt expressed on this subject so let’s see the birth certificate and settle this paranoia once and for all. Wouldn’t that be good for the whole country? You know it’s funny but I guess I always assumed Obama was born in this country specifically because he is black. It never occurred to me to think otherwise until the question was raised. So clearly him being black is not what makes me question his national origin. You’re black. Would you honestly have a problem showing your birth certificate under the same circumstances? if she wasn’t paid off, then perhaps her or a loved one’s past involves some indiscretions for which she is being blackmailed.it’s obvious that the birth certificate would cause an impeachment. but then, an investigation of lingle would require a politically neutral FBI.
this wouldn’t be the first time a republican was “turned”- ken starr was likely manipulated into “failure” of finding clinton corruption , then provolking sympathy towards slick willy by hounding him on noncriminal, very personal matters ;thus saving clinton from impeachment and making republicans appear unreasonable to average news readers.
Linda Lingle should be investigated. IF a birth certificate truly exists, what is she seeking to hide for him and why? Was he really born, prior to Hawaii becoming a state? Is his race, really listed as Arab, which would make sense because his father's father was Arab and Arab's are thought to feel superior to all other races (in my opinion) –this would lose Obama much of his support that has supported him because of the color of his skin, instead of the content of his person? What is it? Is it not really his? What's the problem? If there really is a birth certificate, let's make it be shown! Trump is right. There’s no good reason in the world for Obama not to produce his birth certificate if he was truly born in the USA – especially since it’s become such a point of contention. I’ve had to show a birth certificate before I could be hired for a job. What’s wrong with Obama doing the same? Is it beneath his dignity to show he was born in the United States? I would think he would be glad to put any doubts to rest. This isn’t the first time a presidential candidate’s national origin has come into question. It’s just the first time the issue has been allowed to fester. Given what his own grandmother alleges, this should now be the country’s first priority. How silly that sounds but this question should have been satisfied a long time ago and now it’s well overdue. If Obama isn’t a national born citizen then his presidency is invalid and I would argue that Joe Biden’s vice-presidency is also invalid because the election was based on fraud. We can’t allow this to continue. Let Obama simply prove his origin so we can finally move off this subject. He’s already spent millions keeping us from seeing his birth certificate. Why would anyone do that if he had nothing to hide? This smells very bad. Keep screaming Donald. You may be the only person capable of getting to the truth.
