A Tennessee Federal Grand Jury has formerly indicted David Kernell, the son of a Democrat Congressman, for allegedly hacking into the e-mail account of GOP VP candidate Sarah Palin.
Kernell, an economics major whose online habits indicate ties to the Obama campaign, Leftist causes and Satanism, reportedly turned himself in to the FBI this morning. He pleaded not guilty and is to be tried in December.
U.S. Magistrate Judge C. Clifford Shirley placed a gag order on Kernell and ordered him to not to leave eastern Tennessee without written permission from his probation officer.
If convicted, Kernell faces a maximum of five years in prison, a $250,000 fine and a three-year term of supervised release.
