Fraudster Donated to NYC Dems

Here’s yet ANOTHER Democrat scandal that has caught up Gregory Meeks!

Democrat N.Y. City Council Speaker, Christine Quinn, who made ethics and campaign finance reform a priority during her tenure as speaker, accepted a $20,000 contribution from a real-estate developer who was forced by then Attorney General Eliot Spitzer to repay nearly $1 million in Medicaid overcharges.

Alvin Benjamin was cited in 2002 for overbilling Medicaid $930,000 at four nursing homes he owned at the time. Benjamin “is a major Democratic donor who has given to elected officials both in the city and federally including Democrat Charles Schumer, Queens Democrat Gregory Meeks and Quinn’s predecessor Gifford Miller, another Democrat!
