Despite opposition from police and City Hall, and being pelted with rocks and bottles by irate residents, degenerate liar Curtis Sliwa is pressing on with opening up a Guardian Angels franchise in Norwalk, CT.
“Yes, I’ve seen some opposition towards it,” said Al Raymond, the Norfolk citizen responsible for trying to bring the so-called Angels to town. Common Council member Michael Geake says that only 5 or 6 residents are interested in joining the group, despite a considerable effort to bring awareness.
“I’ve never been open to a chapter,” Police Chief Harry Rilling said. “I thought it was a niche reaction to a small spike in crime.” Mayor Richard Moccia also opposes the group, saying it sends the wrong message about the city and creates “liability problems”. Back in July, residents pelted recruiters while they visited a local housing project.
Sliwa whined about opposition to his opening a franchise in Norfolk.”You would think the Guardian Angels were the Hells Angels trying to start up a chapter,” he said.
