The Fight The Smears website, designed to set the record straight about Barack Hussein Obama, has actually made it worse by stating the Democrat presidential candidate was a Kenyan citizen until 1982 (click on image for a larger version of the screenshot).
To quote the Fight The Smears website:
FactCheck.org Clarifies Barack’s Citizenship
“When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom’s dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children.
Since Sen. Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4,1982.”
Lawyer Philip Berg is currently suing the Democrat Party, the Federal Elections Commission, and Barack Obama for proof that Obama is a natural born citizen. Lawyers representing Obama moved to dismiss the suit last Wednesday, calling the suit’s allegations “ridiculous and patently false,” and argued the court lacks legal standing to challenge a presidential candidate’s qualifications.
While Berg argued the case against Obama on constitutional grounds, Obama’s attorney claims Berg must show a “specific and individualized injury” to prove standing in the case rather than a hypothetical one.

If indeed Obama was born in Hawaii (which certainly has not been established), then the citizenship of his parents is irrelevant. The U.S. supreme Court decided that issue a long time ago – see e.g., U.S. v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 U.S. 649 (1898).
