Jodie Evans, founder of radical peace activist group with Code Pink met Mahmoud Ahmadenejad last Wednesday (Sept. 24) during the Iranian president’s trip to address the UN in New York City.
In addition to heading a radical group with alleged communist ties, Evans is a “bundler” (having raised more than $50,000) for the Obama campaign, was one of 150 other “peace group representatives” who attended a gathering at New York’s Grand Hyatt Hotel.
Evans and fellow Code Pink founder Medea Benjamin offered Ahmadinejad a plan to build a “peace park” in Tehran and invest funds in Iranian businesses “that produce green and sustainable products, such as bicycles.”
