The FBI has visited the home of David Kernell, the Obama supporter who was named as the hacker of Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin’s e-mail account last Thursday.
David Kernell is the son of Mike Kernell, a Democratic state representative from Memphis, Tennesse. David’s cousin also has ties to Satanism.
FBI agents broke up a party at Kernell’s Fort Sanders residence at the Commons apartment complex at 1115 Highland Ave around midnight Sunday morning, according to witnesses on the scene.
Investigators served a federal search warrant and took about 2 hours taking pictures of everything inside the apartment. Kernell’s three roommates were also subpoenaed, and must testify this week in Chattanooga. Kernell and his friends reportedly fled the apartment when the FBI agents arrived.
In addition to the search of Kernell’s home, the FBI has also reportedly investigated his Facebook page, which includes pictures, links to political affiliations and interests, as well as his cell phone number.
No charges have been filed against Kernell at this time.
