This is a Temporary Blip on the highway of Capitalistic Supremacy.
A Year from now, 18 months from now we will be back on an upward course on Wall Street. It is Wall Street that will shrink in size; fewer firms; fewer people. It is the Controlling, Domineering, Tyrannical, Elite who will have to find a way to earn an HONEST LIVING.
The lying, cheating, stealing, thieving, conniving, underhanded, overbearing, two-timing, double-crossing, back-stabbing, cut-throats of Wall Street will have to find a way to earn an HONEST LIVING.
The lawyers, judges, courts, regulators, auditors, legislators and judicial system didn’t catch the crooks; but, Capitalism has it’s own funny way of shaking them out. Yes, just let Capitalism WORK and the scurrilous, surreptitious, scoundrels do get eliminated.
Remember when you used to see the words “Bank and TRUST”? They took TRUST out of the investment system and replaced it with GREED. You can call it Avarice or Excess Indulgence; but it’s best described as GREED. And the people who were the most Greedy, the most selfish, the most self-centered, the most self-absorbed caused Ruination of The Forgotten Man, The Average Joe, The Innocent Party, You and Me.
Supposedly, all of these Perpetrators of Greed had big-time college degrees from fancy-schmancy schools and some even had advanced upper-crust degrees. They must be teaching something “funny peculiar” at these schools; but all the scoundrels seem to get High Marks in those courses. Just let Capitalism work; get the “old” SEC rules and regulations back up; let the shake-out work itself through the system; but first and foremost there needs to be PUNISHMENT. A Crime has been committed and there must be PUNISHMENT.
