Hillary No-Show At Rally With Palin

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has backed out of a United Nations protest rally against Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad after it was learned that Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin would be there.

Both Clinton and Palin were invited, by several American Jewish groups sponsoring the rally. The appearance of both politicians at the same event had the potential of setting off a rumor explosion, as Clinton now campaigns for Democrat Party nominee Barack Hussein Obama, while Palin seeks the votes of burned Clinton supporters.

Furious Clinton aides learned of the double billing only through reporters. “Her attendance was news to us, and this was never billed to us as a partisan political event,” said Clinton spokesman Philippe Reines.
