Political signs in front yards during the campaign season are nothing new but one unconventional placard is rocking a sleepy Florida suburb.
“Obama is a Half-Breed Muslin [SIC]” sits on the Bayfoot Bay lawn of life-long Democrat Andy Lacasse. The Korean War vet put the hand-drawn sign up four days ago to show his disgust for the Democrat presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama, and his party’s treatment of Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Muslin is actually a finely-woven fabric introduced to Europe from the Middle East in the mid-17th century. No report on whether Lasasse’s misspelling is intentional or not.
Lasasse’s neighbors are not happy with the sign. “When you use words in that nature, people tend to discount anything you have to say,” said neighbor Steve Rice. “If you’re going to attract attention, at least make sure your spelling is right.”
