Russian Prime Minister Vladamir Putin says he likes George W. Bush but the American President is not really in charge of his country.
”I treat President Bush better than some Americans would,” Putin told foreign journalists at his residence in the Black Sea resort of Sochi. ”I still hope we will maintain good relations, but it is the court that makes the king.”
The comment came after questioning about increased tensions between the two countries over recent events in Georgia. Putin seemed genuinely angry at the presence of US warship off the Russian coast in the Black Sea, and blamed the Bush administration of training and arming the Georgian military, and encouraging its leadership to launch last month’s assault on the breakaway province of South Ossetia.
Putin defended his country’s invasion of Georgia by asking, “Should we have wiped the bloody snot off our face and bowed our head? Should we have waved our penknives?”

So what's new here? Putin has visions of dictatorship, much like Stalin. None of our Presidents has been "in charge" – that's why we have the 3 parts of government.
Duh!
Perhaps Mr. Putin, with all his reputed intelligence, should read a bit of history as to how our government was formed. We don't have one person "in charge" here.
The Congress has more power than the President – which is why I find it so amusing when Obama tells us that Bush has screwed up the economy. Congress holds the purse-strings, not the President. The most he can do is suggest and veto budgets, he cannot set the spending. Congress does that – and it's been a Democratic Congress for the past 4 years, which is also the length of time the economy has been sliding downhill.
Hmmmm……….
